Youth Calendar
The AQHYA World Championship Show is the premier event for youth horse enthusiasts under 18, showcasing the world’s best young riders in a single-breed world championship. Held annually at the Oklahoma State Fair Park in Oklahoma City, this event is the ultimate goal for youth competitors worldwide.
Youth exhibitors typically earn their place at the AQHYA World by accumulating a specific number of points in various classes that span English, western, and halter disciplines. Alternatively, competitors can qualify by participating through their state or provincial affiliate.
The AQHYA World crowns world champions in the 14-18 and 13-&-under age divisions across core classes, including western pleasure, hunter under saddle, horsemanship, hunt seat equitation, showmanship, ranch riding, and trail.
In addition to the main events, the AQHYA World also features:
- Adequan® AQHA Level 2 Youth Championships
- Nutrena Level 1 Champion of Champions
- AQHA Youth High-Point Presentation
- Team Spirit Contest
Attendees can also benefit from free “Ride the Pattern” clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen, sponsored by Nutrena. These clinics provide invaluable insights and preparation tips for competitors.
